This will connect you to our IRC server. So if you've not yet installed an
IRC client you can still stay in touch with the world :-).
No doubt a real IRC client is better for many reasons but this applet is
very convenient for a short chat.
On first start you have to grant some rights to the applet. In general an applet is only allowed to connect to the host of the web page it is embedded in. Granting these rights to it will allow you to connect to other hosts like our irc server.
